Work Teams

A great opportunity for you to get involved with the Dream Center is through work teams. Work teams usually come for a day and are involved in maintenance, repair, and construction.

Many of the programs of the Dream Center such as Transitional Housing, Second Chance Program, and Media Training take place in an apartment complex owned by Dallas Metro Ministries and is in the process of remodeling. Work teams have been essential in the remodeling, yet there is still much to do. Many of the units need major repair and some are in need of gutting and replacement. Landscaping is also needed. Tasks include:

• Plumbing repair
• Drywall repair
• Carpentry
• Electrical work
• Siding installation
• Painting
• Interior & exterior stairway replacement
• Awning replacement
• Window replacement
• Landscape design

The Dream Center facilities are also an opportunity for work teams. Teams are needed to assist with:

• Remodeling
• Painting
• Organization
• Cleaning
• Vehicle upkeep

Every team that comes is vital in the everyday maintenance of running a major organization. Every task the teams help with is a great blessing to us. Please contact Brent for more information.
